Ceracarta SpA has been established at the beginning of the sixties by the present Chairman, Bandini Marino, on the impetus of the Italian miracle that made it possible for our country to become one of the industrial powers in the world. Our company culture is based on the maximum care for the customer needs, our aim is his complete satisfaction.

The main activity is the production of high technology special papers. In particular, we manufacture products for the medical field (chart papers for electro-diagnostic instruments: ECG, EEG, Echograph) and for the industry (thermal and/or pressure-sensitive chart papers for recording and checking instruments: meteorology, sailing, tachographes, black boxes to record the speed of locomotives in the railways and trucks on the road). In order to complete the range of items for electro-diagnostic instruments we also sell original papers for videoprinters, electrodes and accessories for ECG. In 2000 the company has moved to a new building and since 2003 two divisions of new products have been set up: the production of gel for ECG and ultrasound and the production of contact-less smart labels and smart cards with the brand Ceratag, for radio- frequency identification systems.
In 1999 Ceracarta quality system has been certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 for the production of special and chart papers used in the medical and industrial field, railways and ticketing. In march 2004 the certification has included also the production of gel and cream for electro-diagnostics and ultrasound and radio frequency reading/writing labels and tickets.

Our customers (totally about 700 references ) are both private and public, users of finished or semi-finished products: Central European Railways companies, Post and Telecommunication Ministries, Air Force and Navy, Telecom Italy, Account and Tax Centres, more than 400 Hospitals in Italy and abroad.
The sales network is widespread in all the national territory and abroad, while authorized dealers are covering also areas that are not easily reachable (East Europe and Far East, Mediterranean Countries). During the years, the continuous technological progress and the widening of the production lines, besides the deep experience achieved, have enabled Ceracarta to become the most important Italian manufacturer in Italy in this sector.
